Take your rowing to the next level. At Molesey Boat Club you will be glad to see that we cater for all - from those who are keen to learn to row, right through to Olympic champions. We benefit from employing 3 full-time coaches as well as a team of experienced volunteer coaches.
Everyone has different goals in mind when they are looking at joining a new club. Whether you want to get fit, join a group of like-minded people who row on a regular basis, win at the National Schools Regatta, race at Henley or represent Great Britain, we believe that we can accommodate you.
A brief summary of our squads and who to contact is set out below:
Currently with 8 athletes based at Caversham Bridge with the objective of winning World Championship and Olympic events.
High Performance Squad
Currently 20 strong and run by our head coach, Ben Lewis. The objective of the squad is to win top end, domestic events and challenge for places in National Squad.
GBR Start Programme
Run by Pete Wells, the goal is to develop 18+ year olds into technically sound and enthusiastic oarsmen to move up through the squads.
A very active squad catering for 14 to 18 year olds, run by our full-time coach, Olivier Laplanche and a large number of dedicated volunteers. The goal is to encourage members to achieve their potential, enjoy themselves and win medals at local, national and international events.
With over 120 men and women ranging in age from 27 to 82. The goal is to enable members to achieve their potential, whether it is to compete in regattas and heads or simply have fun with friends on the river.
