Can't get enough of Henley? Even for a rainy summer day, this regatta is a pleasurable day of racing down just over 1K of the Henley course. Even with many members away on summer breaks, Molesey had five members racing including Colette Abel, Courtenay Hallwood, Andrew Wicklund, Mark Buchinger and Paul Keane.
The duo of Colette Abel & Courtenay Hallwood (aka C2) tested themselves in both the women's IM1 Pair and the IM2 Double. Having got to the finals, there was an additional test for the "pit crew" since there was only just enough time to convert the boat from pair to double between their two finals! With convincing wins against Vesta in the Pair and Twickenham in the double, they had their arms full of silverware for the paddle back to the landing stage.
Mark Buchinger competed in a composite 8 but lost out in the final to a Marlow/Henley composite being stroked by Zac Purchase.
Andrew Wiklund lost out to Paul Keane (racing as London!) in the Sen 1x final.
