Now, it’s not all work-work-work at MBC. Once the final blast from the HRR band is over, the last stroke of Nat Champs taken and those donning their GB lycras head off for a summer of International racing, the rest of us head to Peterborough Regatta - the pinnacle of pot hunting, partying, and pole-climbing...

Our camp resembled a nylon and guy-rope citadel and our generator, lights and industrial sized BBQ drew many an admiring comment over the course of the weekend. We consisted of a mix of juniors, Henley winners, novices, babies and National Champions all cheering each other on in the sunshine. We even allowed an Australian into our ranks... (was it brave or foolish of him to join us during the disastrous 4th Ashes Test?) More photos of the social side to be found on the MBC On Tour Group on Facebook.
