Sunday 24th January saw the Remenham Head being run on the tideway between Chiswick and Hammersmith. For many this was a rare chance to race, due to many of the winter heads being cancelled due to fast stream conditions.
Overall Molesey had a very successful day, with the Elite ‘A’ boat coming first by a significant margin of 10 seconds over London. The Intermediate 'A' crew narrowly came second in their category by only a second, and the Molesey ‘Vet E’ crew, romped home 6th overall (after handicap). The women also had some good results with the Intermediate-A crew coming second in their category behind Vesta.
Last of all, a big thank you must go to the organisers for a good day had by all.
