National team
Molesey has a large group of athletes who compete at an international level, as well as many who have previously competed at an international level, but still get together to row at a very high standard. This section describes their groups.

There is a strong and talented group of senior women regularly training at MBC and competing at a high level.
One of the many successes of the 2009 regatta season was the Lightweight Women's Four winning Gold at Nat. Champs.

Veteran
A strong contingent of veterans enjoy rowing at Molesey. In crew terms there are about four eights, a couple of fours, some pairs and of course many single scullers. These crews tend to form and stay in loose groups and carry out their own training and organisation, even to the extent of owning their own equipment.

Adult Development
Adult Development (Novice) Programme
The club takes on adults who have not rowed before and want to learn either competitively or recreationally. Novices learn rowing on either side, sculling, coxing and steering and use of the ergometer. They also learn watermanship and safety on the water and capsize drill. Sessions start off at once a week, then increase to up to three times a week.
We usually start in groups of five or six, about three times a year. We like to discuss with you first what you are looking for. The programme is different between winter and summer. Numbers are limited and we operate a waiting list

We ask you to join the club as a social member (£50 for a year) to begin with and then convert to full rowing membership after a few months, if you want to carry on. Membership costs £365 a year which includes coaching by volunteers, use of facilities and boats.
The full group includes quite experienced people as well as those starting off. We cater for both males and females with no age limits except that you should be over 18. You are welcome to atend social events within the group and within the Club.
Once you can row, you can change to other groups within the Club at certain times in the year and in consultation with your coach.

The Molesey Junior Programme aims to take juniors starting at age 14 and guide them through a programme which will progress each athlete to their personal best.

Parent Supporters
The Parents' Supporters Association exists to offer assistance to these coaches in the organisation of activities and to help in fundraising, which is necessary for keeping the squad equipped. If you can offer your assistance to help load boats on trailers, help out with a social event, or have any fun fundraising ideas, we'd love to hear from you. New members are always very welcome.
Please note that all parents of juniors are welcome in the clubhouse. Please feel free to come upstairs and relax in the warmth of the crew room, or when weather permits - the sunshine of the balcony, while you are waiting for your children. The only time it is not available is when it is being used for a private function or being used as extra training space.
When a junior registers into the programme, a website account is created for the junior and if the parent gives an email address, a separate website account is generated for the parent as well. To save on paper, all communication is done via email and bulletins posted on this website. Generic bulletins are posted in the open areas of the website. However, bulletins and information that contains private club information requires juniors and parents to log in to the website to access. It is the responsibility of the junior and parent to maintain their correct email address and personal information in their website account so we can contact you. If you have a child participating in the junior programme and do not have an account already, please

These are general bulletins that apply to the junior group.
Each registered junior has an account on the website and will receive squad-specific group bulletins in the Members Area which is only accessible when you log in. Juniors should log in and check their group bulletins regularly in case they have missed the automatic emails that go out when the bulletins are generated. Juniors and parents should ensure that their email addresses are correct in their website account.
