Molesey Internationals win Gold and Silvers at the 1st World Cup

While their club mates were winning golds and bronze's in Ghent, the Senior Internationals were winning golds and silvers at the Belgrade World Cup. Club Captain, Andrew Triggs Hodge, stroked the new look GB 4- to a powerful victory over world silver medallists Greece. His club mate, Tom James, backed him up from the 3 seat.

The GB Men's 8 with 4 MBC men occupying the 7,6, 5 and 4 seats went head to head with the German 8 and even led them through the middle before the pace got too hot in the final run in. However this is a very promising start as the Germans have not been led by anyone in 3 years and our guys and their crew mates must have some confidence in this result.

In the Men's 2-, George Nash and Leander crew mate, Will Satch, won a very good silver medal ahead of Greece and just behind Germany. For such a young crew this was an outstanding start to their Olympic campaign!
