3 Wins with 2 Pennant’s; the Molesey's Senior squad had another successful weekend of 8’s racing at Hammersmith Head.

The Men’s Elite 8 continued with their winning ways this weekend by winning the Elite category as well as being the fastest overall men’s 8. 10 seconds ahead of the next fastest crew. The Men’s Senior 8 followed up the success of the Elite 8 coming second overall and had their first win of the season in the Senior 8 category. The Men’s IM1 8 also showed a strong row despite little time together they came 2nd in IM1 just a few seconds behind the winners of the category local rivals Kingston RC.

With just 2 weeks til the Women’s Head of the river the women’s crews wanted to make the most of the tideway time before the Major head race of the season. The Women’s Senior 8 (above) had their first Pennant win of the year and win in the Senior 8’ 16 seconds ahead of the next crew from Thames RC. A promising first head race of the season for the Women’s IM1 8 narrowly missed out on a win by 1 sec.
