Molesey's Own Moe Sbihi, George Nash and Andy Triggs- Hodge have claimed gold at the The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. George Nash and Moe Sbihi seated in the two and three seats respectively in the Men's 4- raced to Olympic gold with crew mates Constantine Louloudis and Alex Gregory. The Brits were the only crew to break six minutes in the final, leading from start to finish in 5:58.61 seconds to beat world silver medallists Australia into second.

Andy Triggs-Hodge, returning for his third Olympiad, contributed to the triumphant Mens 8+ gold. From the beginning, with Britain’s first powerful strokes, a slick and speedy first 500m and a solid charge at the end, GB 's lead grew inch by inch moving out to nearly a length’s lead in a charge of champions.
