Summer Courses
MBC have proud history of successfully introducing juniors to the sport of rowing. From these first strokes they have gone on to all levels of the sport from recreational athletes to Olympic Medalists. Places on our summer courses will be available in the new year.

Age Requirements (for ages 12–14)
​
Minimum age: 12 on 1 September 2026 (moving into Year 8, School Year 2026–27)
Maximum age: 14 on 1 September 2026 (moving into Year 10, School Year 2026–27)

Daily Schedule
​
Courses are split into two sessions, with a break in between for a snack and rest:
Morning session: 9:00am – 12:30pm
Afternoon session: 2:00pm – 5:30pm

During the Course
​
Your child will need a snack and a water bottle. As they will spend much of the day on the water or outdoors, staying hydrated and maintaining energy levels is important.
Participants will need basic outdoor PE kit. Please ensure they have enough clothing for two outdoor sessions per day and a light waterproof jacket in case of rain. A change of socks is essential, as feet often get wet when getting in and out of boats. Weather conditions can vary, so please pack accordingly. If the weather is sunny, sunscreen is strongly advised, especially when out on the water.

Payment Details
​
All payments must be made at the time of booking via our online booking system.
A reduced rate is available for bookings made before 1 June. We are unable to accept cash, cheques, or bank transfers.

Coaches
​
Our lead coaches are fully endorsed by Molesey Boat Club and are insured and fully disclosed. We look forward to receiving your application.

What Happens Next
​
Please note that completing a Learn to Row course does not guarantee a place within our squad. Information on the application process will be provided at the end of the course.
