Summer Courses
MBC have proud history of successfully introducing juniors to the sport of rowing. From these first strokes they have gone on to all levels of the sport from recreational athletes to Olympic Medalists. Places on our summer courses are now available.

Summer Course Information
Throughout July-August. There are several weeks on offer.

Please note our courses have a lower age restriction. Children must be a minimum age of 12 on 1st Sept 2026 (moving into academic Year 8 for 2026-27). There isn't an upper age limit. If you are older than 18 then refer to our adult courses.​

Morning courses start at 9:00am and finish at 12:30pm.
Afternoon courses run from 2:00pm and finish at 5:30pm.

During the Course
Your child will need a snack and water bottle; they will spend the majority of their time on the water/outside, therefore it is important to keep hydrated and maintain energy throughout the course.
​
You will need basic outdoor PE kit to take part. It is important to pack enough kit for 2 separate outdoor sessions a day and a light waterproof in the event of rain. A change of socks is important as they can get wet whilst getting in and out of boats. Obviously the weather can be very varied so please pack accordingly. If we are fortunate enough to get some sun then sunscreen is advised especially when on the water.
Payment Details
All payments must be made at the time of booking through our online booking system. An early bird discount code is available for courses booked prior to 1st June. Use code juniors26 during the checkout process. We cannot process cash, cheques or bank transfers.
Coaches

The lead coaches for the week will be fully endorsed by Molesey Boat Club, who are insured and fully disclosed. We look forward to receiving your application.

What Next​
Unfortunately, we are unable to automatically offer places within our squad to all those who complete a Learn to Row course. Information on our application process will be issued on completion of the course.
