Learn to Row Courses
MBC have proud history of successfully introducing juniors to the sport of rowing. From these first strokes they have gone on to all levels of the sport from recreational athletes to Olympic Medalists. Please see the detail on our Spring courses below, and the Summer courses will be available later this year.

Spring Course Information
Molesey Boat Club IS excited to be offering Spring Learn To Row courses in the Easter half term break.
The course offers 4 days (either mornings or afternoons) of learning to row in a fun and engaging environment alongside the opportunity to make some new friends!
Absolutely no experience is required and we welcome all ages from school years 7 - 13.
Course 1
Monday 30th March - Thursday 2nd April (4 afternoons)
PM: 1:30pm - 5pm
Course 2
Tuesday 7th April - Friday 10th April (4 mornings)
AM: 9am - 12:30pm
Course 3
Tuesday 7th April - Friday 10th April (4 afternoons)
PM: 1:30pm - 5pm
Cost per course for 4-half days: £300pp

During the Course
Your child will need a snack and a water bottle. As they will spend much of the day on the water or outdoors, staying hydrated and maintaining energy levels is important.
Participants will need basic outdoor PE kit. Please ensure they have enough clothing for two outdoor sessions per day and a light waterproof jacket in case of rain. A change of socks is essential, as feet often get wet when getting in and out of boats. Weather conditions can vary, so please pack accordingly. If the weather is sunny, sunscreen is strongly advised, especially when out on the water.

Please note that completing a Learn to Row course does not guarantee a place within our squad. Information on the application process will be provided at the end of the course.
