First up was hosting a very useful and productive time trial with local clubs on the stretch: 120 crews from MBC, Whitgift, Wimbledon and Hampton took part over 3 divisions, gaining valuable race experience before heading further afield.

KINGSTON HEAD

This proved to be a short journey through the lock for the first run down the Kingston stretch at Kingston Small Boats Head.

14 crews and 39 rowers took part with promising performances from all. All finished within the top 10 with 4 wins and a 2nd place.

GBRT U19 TRIALS

Whilst the squad were racing at Teddington, 4 juniors travelled to Boston, Lincolnshire totake part in the GBRT U19 Early ID Assessments. This consists of a 5k race in singles against the top juniors in the country and is the first step in potentially gaining a spot in the Junior Team in the Summer. All put in strong performances and will look to take this momentum in the Winter training block before the next assessment in February.
